Last weekend I had the opportunity to attend Blogshop (thanks mom!) I learned so many fun little photoshop tricks (hello fun gifs and purple hair), ate yummy food (snow cones!) and got to spend some quality time with some incredible ladies.
If my day job was different, and I wasn’t prego…I’d hit up a salon and do this purple magic for real in a hot second.
Probably the biggest take-away from the whole weekend though would have been a new friend…Jacqui from Baby Boy Bakery. I believe that her son Ryan, who left this Earth way too soon, sent her to me to share her story…to show me how strong a mama’s heart can be. Our conversations were precious, and they will always be sacred to me. I can only imagine the incredible gifts his life and his memory will continue to give to people. Thanks Ryan, somehow you knew that this mama’s heart desperately needed your mama’s friendship and incredible spirit in her life. I didn’t deserve that gift, but you gave it anyway.
Jacqui, I hope I continue to love on my Ry Ry every single day just like you loved on your Ry Ry for every single moment you had with him.
